Every country describes the same two things, a band and a cup, just with different labels. This bra sizes chart puts them side by side, in inches and centimetres, with honest notes wherever published charts disagree and a page for each cup letter and common size.

Bands

Your band comes from the snug underbust, rounded to the nearest even inch. Every country's band number follows from it.

**Band conversions**EU and Japan use the underbust in centimetres, in 5 cm steps; France adds 15; Australia and New Zealand subtract 22 from the UK number.

Where EU conversions disagree

We ran the same 10 tape measurements through two calculators on 25 September 2026. They agree on the EU band every time and disagree on the EU cup 8 times out of 10.

Our read: calculator.net's EU cup runs one letter above the UK-to-EU label convention from D upward (UK D prints as EU E). The label convention (UK DD = EU E, UK E = EU F) is the one A Bra That Fits and the UK ladders on Wikipedia use, so we follow it. EN 13402 itself grades EU cups in 2 cm steps rather than 2.54 cm (Wikipedia), which is one reason EU and UK letters can drift apart; if an EU brand publishes a centimetre chart, use it.

Notes by country

UK: Doubles letters after D: DD, E, F, FF, G, GG, H, HH, J, JJ, K. Most full-bust brands (and A Bra That Fits) work in UK sizes.
US / Canada: D, DD, DDD, then G, H, I, J. Some brands use E for DD and F for DDD, so read the brand chart.
EU: Band is the underbust in cm in 5 cm steps (70, 75, 80). Single letters, no DD: UK DD is EU E.
France, Belgium, Spain: EU band + 15 (EU 75 is FR 90), EU cup letters.
Australia / New Zealand: UK band − 22 (UK 34 is AU 12). UK letters to F; Berlei and A Bra That Fits then go G, H, HH with no FF or GG (Berlei).
Japan: EU band numbers, cups in 2.5 cm steps (JIS L 4006), letters about one ahead of EU (OneMall). A Bra That Fits' Japanese output runs a further letter ahead above DD, so treat these as approximate.
